THEY SERVED THEIR COUNTRY,
IT’S TIME THEIR COUNTRY SERVE THEM

The Resilience Ruck, founded by Erica Hildreth, is an event created to honor the struggles and sacrifices of veterans while raising awareness for critical issues they face, such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injuries, substance abuse, and suicide. Inspired by the loss of her own father, a proud Marine veteran who battled alcoholism, Erica created this event to provide hope, community, and support to those affected by similar challenges. The Resilience Ruck takes place each year on November 5, close to Veterans Day and her father’s birthday, symbolizing remembrance and recovery. The event features a 12K ruck march, representing the 12 steps of recovery, and is followed by an evening celebration with food trucks, live music, giveaways, and a special ceremony. Each year, the celebration includes a heartfelt tribute, where participants honor those who have chosen the road to recovery and remember those, like Erica’s father, who are no longer with us. The Resilience Ruck offers both in-person and virtual participation options, connecting supporters nationwide, with all proceeds benefiting top organizations focused on veterans’ mental health.

“As a military spouse and daughter of two marines, I have a deep commitment to supporting our Veterans and advocating for their mental health. Together we can 𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥 a greater quality of life for our Veterans, 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗘 them to choose a different path, one supporting mental health, and 𝗨𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗧 the American Family.”
